Host a House Concert!
What's a house concert?
Well, it’s basically just what it sounds like... a TRWE concert given in someone’s living room! Usually, there is also food, drink, and merriment involved. House concerts are a new way to experience an artist in an intimate and informal setting. Often the event will be a potluck where everyone brings a dish to share.
House Concert Etiquette
* Guests are respectfully requested not to talk during the performance. Think symphony rather than pub atmosphere.
* Suggested donation of $10-$20 per guest to help with the artists' travel expenses and future musical endeavors
How to Be a Host
To host a house concert, all you really have to do is plan a party and invite as many friends/family as you can accommodate in your home (usually about 20-30). You can provide food/drink or make it a potluck event. We'll provide the PA (if necessary) and the customizable invitations (see below). If you live more than an hour or two from Nashville, there may be a minimum cash donation in order to cover the fuel costs for our RV.
Reviews from Past Hosts
"The Red Wine Effect at the B&W Vineyard, May 3, 2013. A rare treat to hear music like this. Beginning with a happy tearful anniversary song and turning into a fun filled, musical night. What is now memories and long term friendships was, for all of us, a great night. Bottom line: we have lots of parties this was THE BEST EVER!" - Barry P., Key West, FL
"House concerts are fun! May 1 was a special day even with the few things that went wrong beginning with my very hurtful back, the rain that came as 30 guests were coming to my house, my missing shirt that I bought just for the event, and a very sore foot! But at 6 PM, two lovely ladies and one fabulous guy turned all those problems into sheer delight! Those 30 guests were crammed into our very small house and were entertained by this terrific group called The Red Wine Effect. Hollie, Kathy, and John, thank you so much for turning a bad day into a memorable one filled with great songs and sounds! Hopefully, we can do it again next year!" - Cathy J., The Villages, FL
